REVISION:
My dear roommate Jenn and I have recently picked up the novel idea of taking turns cooking dinner for each other. We were depressed that no one in our dorm really eats/cooks for each other because everyone either has a)a ridiculous schedule or b)a strict/picky diet. Sooooo, we decided that since we a)like to try new things and b)like to have a few days each week that we don't have to even worry about dinner, we figured we'd give it a try.
I've mainly been sticking to really simple things for now: pasta, stirfry, soup/sandwiches, and the like. One day I decided to do some good ole manicotti, which is pretty easy and tasty. When I ran to the Creamery to gather the necessary items, I was amazed that they don't have manicotti noodles.
"What!!!?" cried my brain in frustration. "What kinda place doesn't have manicotti noodles?"
So....I had to REVISE my original plan. Instead of the noodles I sought, I used lasagna noodles--I rolled them up and put the cheese inside. Even though it was messy, and funny, it all worked out in the end. Yay.
